Though I don’t know too many wearing quartz or mechanical watches while indulging in adventure sports, here is a protective watch band that aims to keep your watch dry and scratch free even in the most extreme conditions. This protective band called the Watch-ET even claims to be a patented design that thankfully looks like a sporty wrist band. All you need to do is to strap your watch around this band made up of tough neoprene and then you are all set to go. Though there are plenty of watches that are built for adventure sports, the Watch-ET will prove handy for those of you who don’t want to spend that extra dough on a watch that’s made specifically for adventure sports. You can buy the funky looking Watch-ET for an inexpensive $9.99.

Concept of Sergio Silva, ‘Oyule’ is an amazing idea to reuse dumped electric bulbs. Of course, this ‘flame’ does remind us of the days(or nights?) of our forefathers before the birth of Edison - it’s buoyance is truely amusing for any modern-day intensely-electrified home. I do have a worry about this clever idea though - as the oil burns out, the centre-of-gravity of the bulb would get lowered that will disturb it’s buoyance. Whatever it is! A lovely concept - whether you use it or not!

Believe me if you think these are tempting and you can’t wait to dig your teeth into these sooner than you know you will be queueing in front of the psychiatrist’s office! Doesn’t matter if artist Kittiwat Unarrom sculpts these breads with all the intricacies of human body and stuffs them with raisins, cashews and chocolate, these breads are far from delectable! This bread shop in Thailand is quite a conversation item for all the breads are in the form of internal organs, human faces and limbs. It can turn any veggie into a cannibal and that my friend, is a scary thought!

We all love doling out tunes by striking our pens or pencils on to empty tin cases or cans. Or even just dragging it over the metal railing at a sidewalk! Music lovers can make music out of anything. ‘Anything’ includes a building too! That’s exactly what David Byrne had intended to do…..turn a landmark building in Manhattan into a giant musical instrument. From May 31 onwards, you can visit the New York’s Battery Maritime Building and be a part of Byrne’s interactive music installation called simply “Playing the Building.”

Sometimes we tend to diminish the fact that cheap can be chic and stylish too. These sunglasses by Shutter Shades are simply superb. They are cheap, chic, they are sexy and they aren’t garish or loud. Available in the shades of black, white, gold, silver, these shades will definitely prove to be a worthy purchase. One can tone them down with everything and anything. Be it a pair of casual jeans, or a flared skirt or a sexy evening dress, these pairs are bound to find a congenial place in your style statement. I kind of love the color black, so the black ones work for me pretty well. What would be your choice?

I don’t know where you stand on this issue, but I really don’t like anything electrical or mechanical messing with my head (curling irons, hair dryers, and CAT scans not included). So you would understand why I’m more than skeptical about this USB-powered Brain Massager. The thing basically creeps the big Jesus out of me with its octopus legs that claim to be able to detect areas of stress with their tentacles and then determine which part of your brain needs to be treated most via a vibrating message. The original website for this product was in Japanese and a Google translation only confused me more, but I think the thing can also be used to message other parts of the body like neck and shoulders, though again I’m a little wary of having an electric octopus vibrate near my spine. The Brain Massager can be powered by the USB port of your PC or two AA batteries so either way it’s not very nature-friendly as compared to having another human being do the same thing for you. P.S. the website claims that the massager is not a medical product and since I couldn’t find any medical or other certification saying the thing won’t go out of control and poke you with its electrical tentacles all over, I’ll advice to be a little cautious if you do indeed decide to buy it.

Harry Sperl is a German immigrant who has taken his love for hamburgers to a whole new level. He considers the burger to be a bit of an American icon and has spent over 7 years in collecting memorabilia related to burgers. His latest possession is this custom-built Hamburger Harley-Davidson trike that has been created by airbrush artist Chris Cruz and features everything you’ll find on a real yummy burger. Featuring (fake) cheese, pickles, Onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, the giant hamburger replica also come with a side of shake and fries and the Harley engine hidden underneath it makes sure you can see actual steam rising from the medium rare beef patty. The realistic paint job that went into making this bike a true modern classic involves a melting cheese front tender and ketchup bottle shock covers. The trike mod looks almost as irresistible as the real thing and were it not for the bike parts sticking out of the thing, I’m sure the mod would have attracted a lot of real bites from random hungry passers by!

Home wares giants Innermost Ltd. really love to keep their designs funky and attractive to homeowners and decorators of all tastes. Which is why their latest line of shades draws upon everybody’s favorite anecdote materiel- ghosts! The customizable shades, created by designer Monica Singer, are a perfect example of minimalist flamboyance. Made from Acrylic & polyester film, the design of the shades allows users to cut out strips outlining the “ghost” according to their own décor requirement. The Cut has been designed to be used only with CFL bulbs so that makes this ghost quite a treehugger as well. Perfect for homes with creaky wooden floors, drafty hallways and noisy doors (perhaps with a cat or two thrown in as well), the Cut Light Shade is the ideal lamp for a Halloween-themed décor!

For all those of you who are sick and tired of the insect repellent gels and powders on your skin, you might want to look at Ex Officio’s Buzz Off range of clothing that will literally buzz insects off. And how does it do all this? It does so with Permetherin fibres woven into these pieces of clothing. These fibres, which are a man made version of chrysanthemum’s natural insect repellent, will keep insects at bay and in turn save you from itches, bites and more importantly dangerous diseases. The blokes at spotcoolstuff have even gone a step further and tried out this jacket with great success. So all you outdoor junkies definitely will want to run off and buy yourself these very useful pieces of insect repelling clothing.

If you feel like having a nice cool shower in the middle of the woods, you can definitely do so. No we aren’t talking about a waterfall, but this nice little Pocket shower from Sea to Summit. Outdoor buffs will love this piece of outdoor kit simply because of the sheer convenience and functionality that it manages to bring to the table. Made up of heat resistant waterproof fabric, this Pocket shower can hold up to ten litres of water when fully unfurled. Fill it up, hang it between a couple of trees with the 20 foot cord provided, and then soak up in a nice cool shower in the middle of nowhere. You can control the flow of water through a twist-action spout. And after your impromptu shower in the woods, you can roll it up into the 6×3 inch pouch and the Pocket shower will neatly fit your pocket. What’s more, you could even use the Pocket shower as a sleeping bag or a storage bag. Very nice! Meanwhile, you can buy one of these for $24.95 here.

Whoever designed this Treadmill Bike clearly had a deluded perception that riding an ordinary bike wasn’t exercise enough! Sure, this creation is a rather fresh approach so you can get your daily fix of workout through the daily commute to work and shopping and stuff, but this particular idea, quite frankly, is ridiculous. Why do you want to complicate a time-tested design by adding an unstabilizing treadmill to it which, BTW only makes it harder to balance the thing on the road which, when you’re surrounded by those big, heavy and swift cars and trucks on the road, cannot be a good thing. And since the thing doesn’t look all that convenient to carry up a flight of stairs, you can forget about not worrying about parking either.

For the translation woes are we deemed! The only resort then left is to look at the flick and talk, you may thus find flaws but would hopefully forgive me for reasons known. It is an oil-catching paper, a kind of tissue, which is a currency look-alike. ABURA, the manufacturer would have been heavily lauded by me if it wasn’t a stolen idea, but for the yellow raced antics; even this one seemingly caught the sneeze.

Candles for me were never an item that would draw a geek’s interest towards it. They were something that would add to the décor of you surrounding or else the simple ones would simply light up your dark. But, this picture above has left me pondering about the entire purpose of a candle. They call it the wooden candle and it is located in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania, outside a local candle shop. The only purpose you can derive from it is to heavily publicize your shop to every passer buy. I wish this guy put up the image of the candle shop for which this giant candle serves as an advertisement. Must be real fun to visit that shop, considering the brain put in to advertise it, using a giant wooden candle.

Urgh! What self-respecting man or woman walking the face of the earth would ever like to leave home with a wooden clamp hanging from their garment? I mean putting a USB flash drive into an object of everyday use is fine but dude, this is just ridiculous. The most disgusting thing about this supposedly revolutionary thing is that they have actually managed to brand the thing (it has been christened Spinacz, whatever THAT means!) and I dare say someone might even have the “foresight” of trying to sell it to us for a few good dollars of our hard-earned money! Oh man, can you imagine walking into the office with this thing hanging onto a part of your shirt like you just took the garment off the clothesline and wore it like a peasant or something? And the jokes that will naturally stem from such a tasteless invention.. I can already feel my cheeks burning with the mere imagination of the humilaition this pendrive can induce!
