Combinations produce weird things alright! So while mere mortals of us still wonder what shirt to combine with what pair of jeans, the hardware engineers think about combinations that’ll change the face of the planet. Take Asus MS71 for example. It is the combination of a flash drive and a wireless mouse. Impressed? Think again!
Announced at the CeBIT 2008, the device to the untrained eye looks purely as a bulky USB drive. Look closer and you’ll see that the devise divides into two units. One of these is a mouse transmitter and the other a wireless laser mouse, with a scroll wheel. And the mouse charges via the transmitter when you plug in the whole thing as a USB drive. Pricing and specs are unknown. One thing that’s known though is that device is far too big, and the combination all too distorted for any real utility.
