If you are a booklover just like me, then I’m sure you must absolutely love to display your fav titles in carefully chosen designer shelves. But then again if you happen to have a huge library, finding a particular volume form a large stack can be rather tiresome. This is where this virtual bookshelf developed by researchers at Keio University comes into the picture. Named BiblioRoll, the virtual bookshelf consists of three LCD displays in a transparent tube that let you browse through a large collection, read a book and clip pages via the virtual tool. Of course this thing is not even close to being as pleasurable as a real book, but it’s a step in the direction of taking libraries to the next level of technology.
