Cardboard Bicycle makes us dream of a ‘green’ Christmas this year

Asmita PrasadJun 21 2008

Yeah, the green revolution has really begun to gain ground and we could not be more thrilled with the chain of events. With solar-powered home appliances and eco-friendly vehicles becoming increasingly popular among the masses, it only kinda makes sense to have stuff like this stunning Cardboard Bike becoming increasingly commonplace. Created by Sheffield Hallam University student Phil Bridge, the mostly biodegradable and super-affordable bike aims at taking biking up an eco-friendly notch thanks to the unusual choice of materials used in it. With each bike costing roughly 15 pounds, something tells me this innovative green bike might just show up under a lot of trees this Christmas.
