Cool factor: A chair without bolts or welding
Designer: Kouichi Okamoto of Kyouei Design
My take: Keep the rugged looks aside and just focus on its out-of-the-box make. Designer Kouichi Okamoto created the “Composition Chair” by bending an aluminum wire and then crossed it one by one. No bolts, no welding were used; rather, a jig and a pair of pliers is what makes this impressive craftsmanship.
