Ever seen the smug look on people’s faces when they come out of a pet saloon, with a perfectly groomed pet? They think they are so damn chic for extending their fashion sense to their pets! But this Mary River Turtle really has trumped all those prissy French Poodles with manicured paws and trimmed poufs for good. Thanks to a bunch of gross, albeit cool-looking algae, growing on its pate, this endangered beauty, found in Australia has taken on the look typical of a punk rocker and we’re totally digging it too!
What’s even better is that these hardy old fellows are known to live well in their hundreds so we can rest assured this chic turtle will have enough time grow a proper flowing mane too!
