Fashionable seating made from recycled tennis balls

Living to near a tennis court has a lot of advantages, like you get to watch rich, novices make fools of themselves for free, you get to watch slender beauties work sweat it out, and sometimes you also get to tell your friends how the kid you used to watch playing from your balcony is now a seeded pro!

But it also comes with a lot of problems, the biggest one of them being bombarded with errant tennis balls at all hours. Of course no one really blames you for confiscating all the balls that land in your property like most self-respecting homeowners would, but after a while don’t you start to wonder what you could do with a basement full of tennis balls?

Well, you can always take a cue from Dutch designers Tejo Remy and Rene VeenHuizen who used the bright yellow bouncy felt-and-rubber balls and a steel frame for making seating that is comfortable, tough and very attractive too! The highly unusual seats are currently in use at Rotterdam’s Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and we totally advocate that you get one of these for your own lounge too!
