If you have been having trouble with one of the ice maidens or icy men, you would wish for their hearts to melt and understand your passion and warmth. If that can’t happen, a Brazilian artist Nele Azevado has created sculptures using ice and they melt of course. The sculptures look like they have all been frozen in time, while they were talking, walking across the road and just while relaxing. Macabre as it may seem and look, this piece of art has given a totally new meaning to ‘people melting’.

I wonder how Nele has managed to make them in such sad poses. They look quite nice though, sort of like mini-snowmen. Oops, I mean, ice-men.
