Icelandic turf house - Beauty lies in the beholders eye!

Piyush MehtaJan 9 2009

Turf houses are quite common in Iceland; you can trace their origin back to the 10th century and boy, don’t they look remarkable! This one in particular is so beautiful that I cannot take my eyes off it. The lush green environment makes me forget everything, leaving behind the atrocities of the world.
