You can make all the speed bumps on the road, you can pepper the sides with all kinds of speed limit signs and you can get all the cops in the world to patrol the roads with speed guns but none of these measures with ever get drivers to slow down if they don’t want to. But the innovative Chinese have come up with a rather foolproof solution to the speeding problem. In place of persuading drivers to slow down, they just made it impossible for them to speed! Of course having a meandering narrow road with high sidewalks will do nothing for the traffic but hey if they can imitate the same model with steel railings on wider roads and have like flyovers in place of pedestrian crossing then we’ll all surely live happily ever after!
