With the Yankee Stadium closing, after 85 memorable years of legend making, it’s only fair to expect all kinds of tributes to pour in form loyal fans all across the globe.

And this 5 feet wide and 5 feet long replica of the sporting monument built to an approximate scale of 1:150 crafted out of 45,000 Lego elements is as good a tribute as it gets.

Crafted by professional Lego artist Sean Kenney, the model was crafted over three years of dedicated labor and fans can even buy poster prints of the model on his website. I wonder if that would be worth more in the memorabilia market in 20 years’ time than a print of the real thing!
