Monkeys adopting human behavior! ‘Sake house’, a restaurant in Japan, has two monkeys named Yatchan and Fukuchan, working out a two hour shift as waiters. The owner (Kaoru Otsuka) makes them work only for two hours because of animal rights regulations. Perhaps, this is an effective step especially when the global economy is on a decline. Being tipped with boiled soya-beans and that too for a two hour shift is what I call ‘effective negotiation’! Check out the video after the jump.

reminds me of the chimp mentioned in Michael Crichton’s book ”NEXT” :)
simply fascinating...
but this is not new. In an Indian Epic ’Ramayana’ monkeys(namely Hanuman and group) help Rama (the lead character) to save Seetha(the lead’s pair) from Ravana(the villian) from the island nation SriLanka.
