What’d you do to experience a roller-coaster ride? I bet you’ll go to nearest amusement park, wait for your turn and after 30 seconds of ride you’ll be craving for more. Something similar happened to John Ivers and he finally got sick of waiting for his turn for the license to ’30 seconds of thrill.’ But he was too much of a roller coaster lover to quit it; instead, he built one in his own backyard. His roller-coaster baby is named ‘Blue Flash,’ it is quite safe to ride and also includes a full 360 degree loop. It took him around one and a half year to finish it using his welding skills and whole lotta scrap metal he had with him.
Below is a video where you can see Blue Flash and John Ivers in action. And hey, don’t forget to see the gallery, got more pics of Ivers’ baby.

guess having a roller coaster in one’s backyard will take one’s mind off from the issues bothering the world, Global food crisis, or global warming or Poverty in ”some” countries for example.
I mean what the ””+*&^%#$%$#*&@#@...””!!!
So you mean to say that you dont use that extra cash for your luxeries? You actually donate that to needy people?
If you do then hats off to you, but if you dont then why would you expect others to do so? :|
@ nishant
Hey, this is not LUXURY, this is downright misery. I am no saint of service, but still there is something inside which irks you when you read, news, such as this.
And as far as EXTRA CASH is concerned, IF I had that much of money to spare my soul I would rather LIE DOWN AND DIE!!!:) :)
I suppose you would not mind having a DISNEYLAND in your own garden if you had any EXTRA CASH???
I am still dazed, after reading this news piece of yours, which by the way is quite a read!!!
Nice piece of information you have going on there!
But I can’t quite come to terms with your utilities of EXTRA - CASH???
I mean what the ...!
:)
Oh come on, I dont think you read that article properly.
That guy worked hard for 1.5 yrs and used the scrap metal he had (as his business is related to automobiles etc) to built that thing
How is that not such a cool thing to do?
It’s atleast better than people building costliest homes and all. Atleast he isnt wasting lots of money
