Generally when we sit down to eat, the only thing we want to see naked is the chicken. But the summer heat is driving many New Yorkers to seek new dimensions of self expression and naked yoga and nude dining are becoming the fads to follow this summer. A handful of restaurants in the city are offering monthly naked meals held where diners’ motto is “no hot soup.” Even though the restaurant staff is required to be fully clothed under city regulations, the people they serve seem to be much more comfortable eating in the buff. And the nudists are not stopping at naked dining either.

Yoga and comic clubs too are seeking to shed their, er, inhibitions, and the best part about all this is that diners still place napkins in their laps, yoga mats are still in vogue even though clothes aren’t and the nude comics still have curtains rising and falling at their routine!
