I know, I know! The Beijing Games have been over for ages now and talking about it makes one look like a googly eyed first-time traveler. But you know what, for the Chinese people the Games were a source of great pride and I think they will still be talking about it till they get to host another one! You don’t believe me? Then take a look at these impressive Olympics-frenzy fed pieces of furniture that were showcased at the 14th China International Furniture Fair.

The “Bird’s nest” coffee table and “Cloud” chair left no room for doubt about the source of their designs’ inspiration though I must say that the Chinese national flag fluttering on to one of the coffee tables did seem like taking the national spirit a little OTT!
