Alan Perrin, 45, a former Royal Marine, would never have thought even in his wildest dreams that after losing his one arm and an eye in a bomb blast, he could go on to hit a hole-in-one at Exminster Golf Club course near Exeter, in Devon. He went on to win the game, using his 'lazy seven iron' to hit that miraculous 160-yard shot.
