Powercast wireless charger sends electricity through the air

I think God finally listened to all of us wire-tortured tech-dependants. After the wireless headphone got rid of the strangling hazard for all music lovers, a new device is promising to deliver us from the evils of charger chords. The Powercast, as the mobile messiah is called, can charge gadgets up to three feet by using a unique wireless power system that sends electricity through the air. The device, which was showcased at the just-concluded CES in Las Vegas, is expected to hit the markets only by next year. Impressive, but do you get electrocuted when you pass through the electricity beam?
