I used to think that the whole point of having an ice box or a drink cooler was that you could store your fav cans of beverage ‘on the rocks’ by your side so you won’t have to get up and walk all the way back to the fridge to get another drink. That was till I laid my eyes on this incredibly pointless RC drinks cooler, which does all the things that your regular, normal, non-RC cooler does (store drinks in an insulated box filled with ice) but for some strange reason features some pretty non-all-terrain wheels and a radio-control unit. Now, I don’t really understand why you would need to have your booze stored away in a cooler 30ft away only to summon it via a bottle top inspired handheld transmitter to where you are sitting when you don’t even have to plug it into a power outlet for freezing/music playing purposes! Mind-boggling as the uselessness of this device is in general, I guess it could really come in handy when you’re blessed with an ungodly number of “friends” and you really want to be able to have some of your beers stashed away in a secret, cool place where your friends cannot find them, and you know you’re gonna want a whole lot more beer after your friends leave but you’re also aware that you’ll probably be too wasted already to remember where you hid the goddamn cooler with all the spare booze. Hmmm… maybe this thing isn’t that useless after all!
