Over five hundred years ago, Cervantes had observed that He who sings scares away his woes. I wonder what he thought of drummers and I’m really curious to know what he would have said about this Drum Bicycle. Created by Copenhagen-based drum shop owner Soren Juel, the idea originated with the suggestion of a bike smith who frequented Juel’s shop. Throughout the bike, drums are used wherever possible including the cymbal on the chain, fenders made from 26 inch vintage Premier Bass hoops and original Gretsch Red sparkle coating, all of which is held in place by drumsticks. Drum skins on the wheels also provide free advertising for the shop, though the drum stool seat certainly couldn’t be all that comfy to ride on!
