Suima cradle - An automatic way to rock your baby to sleep

Piyush MehtaMar 19 2009

Parents delight; sleeping is no more a fight! It must be hard for a parent, working all day long in the office, wanting a sound sleep in the night, and having to wake up every now and then to rock the baby back to sleep. Thankfully, an automated cradle called Suima would do the needful while you rest in peace (pun intended). Peace that would cost you about $4,255.

The Suima does the rocking for you based on an embedded sound sensor that detects crying noises. It’s programed to start with a quick-paced rocking, then slowly settles into the pace of the mom’s heartbeat; and eventually, it rocks slower and slower to a more sleep-inducing pace. If all goes according to plan, the baby should be asleep again within 15 minutes.
