The aim of completely covering toy cars in mix matched colours to pay respect to the famous ‘General Lee’ Charger from the Dukes of Hazzard isn’t a bad idea. Famous British artist James Ford showcased his brilliant creativity by doing just that, where he placed 4500 mini car models on his Ford Capri coupe. The project first began in 2004 when the artist purchased the car and his masterpiece was complete within a span of two years. The toy cars alter the aerodynamics of the functioning car and make it impossible to wash. Undoubtedly, this car is beautifully crafted and the dedication of the artist towards cars is exemplary, but I have to admit that it has zero practical use!

Nice car. Smart idea of recycling your matchbox for the design of your car. It shows you really love cars.
