Agreed that video games are harmful for kids as they maim their eyes, but then it is better to let them have the fun, instead of allowing them to become anti-social elements! You would think crazy of me for I mention this, but folks, it is a fact that is supported by the researchers of the Harvard Medical School. They believe that violent video games are a healthy form of social interaction, especially for the boys. The research even reveals that boys who don’t indulge in any form of PC gaming activity run a greater risk of involvement into anti-social activities. They base the research on the theme that playing video games are a form of normal routine and thus anyone who shams away form it may be disconnected from the society. The study is still incomplete and the researchers need to take into consideration a lot more relative aspects, which means that there is time before we start hailing it as something indispensable when deciding about game ratings.

Video games actually act as a tension and stress reliever. I myself sometimes vent all of my anger on a computer generated character sometimes by naming that unlucky toon the name of the person i am mad at. Jokes apart, i guess this is a positive point about the increasingly violent video games.
