Viewfindr: The photo frame that isn’t!

Asmita PrasadOct 10 2008

Being a total sucker for nostalgia, I find it hard to let go of old pictures. I, thus have, literally dozens of photo frames littering every available space at my home. Even though I personally don’t find anything wrong with this habit, it can be a serious problem for some. That’s where this neat little hand-held device called Viewfindr comes into the picture, pun intended. The brainchild of industrial designer, illustrator and 3-D modeler Nick Ross, the unique apparatus lets you frame any scene that you fancy without actually saving the image.

It might sound tricky but it’s just like gazing out of a really small window frame. The point behind the creation of course is to encourage people to go out and experience nature in all its glory instead of just settling for watching it via captured images! Smart!
