Created by a grad student at the University of New Hampshire, Oskar Palinko, the Wireless PTT Glove could potentially help car drivers to voice-activate communication or other devices inside a car more easily than with common PTT button devices. With a glove based input for in-car speech interface, the wireless PTT (push-to-talk) glove comes laced with buttons inserted under the fingertips of the index finger and the thumb that activate when index finger and thumb are pressed together via an RF remote controller which triggers the speech user interface to listen to speech commands. Of course the device may not be so useful for regular drivers but for people who need to multi-task while driving like the police, emergency response teams or delivery service guys, having a wireless PTT glove might make their ride more effective as well as secure.
