Metal and rubber were thought to be the essential element for bicycle, but Chinese carpenter Peijia Wu has proved us wrong. This unknown carpenter has built a bicycle entirely out of wood, even the joints were fixed with small wooden bungs. However, since without metal, chain apparatus is not possible, so Peijia Wu replaced it with a rod-crank system.
