Writing Spoon lets you create art on the go

Asmita PrasadAug 22 2008

When I was kid I used to get in trouble a lot for playing with my food. But times have changed and these days playing with your food is termed art! At least this extraordinary Writing Spoon designed by Spanish artist Julie Mariscal seems to suggest so. The thing is basically a spoon and fountain pen hybrid with an incision at its tip that lets you use your coffee, sauce or any kinda liquid as ink to write, draw or doodle.

Of course not may restaurants across the world will encourage you to create art or leave notes on their meticulously selected tablecloths so you might just have to satisfy your artistic urges doodling on napkins only. For $46, the Writing Spoon may not be as cheap a regular pen but it is so much more fun anymore. Watch the magical art supply in action in the cool video below!
