I won’t make things complicated by explaining what Yaktrax is, or, what help would it be on a snow covered surface, rather it would be viable to buy one here for $14.25, so as to reduce the risk of slipping and falling on ice. I believe walking on a snowy terrain needs concentration more than any traction equipment. Anyway, if Olympic Bobsledding Teams are putting these to use, that means there is something to it.
