The modern age fitness machines are getting better and better, first with the high end technology, designed to keep the fitness freaks entertained while they sweat it out and then the compact design. And, now is the time to say bye-bye to the dull black and gray color theme of the fitness equipment like this haute couture Power Plate Machine by legendary Japanese fashion designer, Kenzo Takada. The eclectic machine adorns his signature floral print, so you can exercise at ease even in your living room. The glammed-up machine adorns a designer price tag of $14,352.

When highly evolved nano-aliens descend upon our planet to mine our plethora of carbon monoxide gasses they’ll surely be piloting something like this Mini HoverDrone. This is by far the smallest flying R/C device we’ve ever seen and it’s damn impressive in the air. With a diameter not much larger than a silver dollar and a single propeller on the bottom, the HoverDrone somehow manages to float in the air as it spins and flashes its blue LED.

Watch a cool takeoff video video after the break.

HoverDrone is powered by 6AAA batteries, which are not included in the set. Alternatively, it can also be charged and made to fly, in which case a 10 minutes charging will give it an airtime of 5-7 minutes. The exact dimensions of this cool mini alien HoverDrone is 60mm(d)X 65mm(h). Well, about the price, you’ll be shocked to know ......that HoverDrone costs only $19.99. That’s an awesomely cool price for something as doozy as the HoverDrone. Besides that, it’s not only your kids who can play with this, it is a cool gadget for grown ups also.

This is a ‘holiday home’ design, by the Belgian designer Axel Enthoven, which is called Opera by him. You can better call it, nomadic contemporary habitat for the 21st century. This canvas holiday home unwinds from a trailer into a beautiful caravan that is a dead ringer, almost, for a yacht and includes two beds, a toilet, hot and cold water, LED lighting and a mobile hub. This design will be displayed at the Design at Work trade fair in Belgium this December.

“The Opera allows you to stay in the most beautiful places, but with the luxury of a wine cabinet, warm-air heating, espresso bar and an enclosed teak veranda. This nomadic, contemporary living tent offers the quality of a luxury yacht combined with the outdoor feeling of camping under canvas.”

If you want to be a kick ass guitarist following the path of least resistance, then this Electronic Guitar Guitar tee shirt from Think Geek and 4 AAA batteries might just do the trick for you. This t-shirt will cost you $29.99 and whenever you feel that you are in the groove, you can play it as well.

Described as a “real instrument”, the Electronic Guitar Shirt is said to be incredibly easy to play because each button on the neck is a major chord. All major chords are recorded from a real electric guitar, and the included magnetic pick allows you to strum just like you would a real guitar. The included mini amp clips to your belt and “gets plenty loud” while the tone knob on the amp lets you adjust the sound just like a real guitar.

Leonardo’s portrait of Mona Lisa, probably the most famous painting in the world, has been interested by the public for more than 500 years. Only a few paintings are so well known as Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and explaining her mysterious smile has proved to be a hard nut to crack. So, in Eagles Meadow shopping center in Wrexham, Wales yesterday, the largest ever Mona Lisa reproduction was put on display, may be to get a different and bigger perspective of her mysterious smile. But on a more serious note, Hope House, a charity, benefited from this fundraising event. This marvelous replica was spread over a massive 240 square feet, enough to comprise 24 double Decker buses! It was a once in a life time opportunity for the visitors as they were also allowed to touch it! All for a good cause.

Members from the entire community have come together to create their own version of the famous Leonardo da Vinci painting

The Ora watch surpasses all watches on innovative designing, intricacy and finesse in haute horology. The sight of this watch is such a novel experience that you won’t be able to inhibit the mesmerization it causes subtly. There is nothing very flashy about Ora. It has three tapes running in three different directions to keep the time, which at first may appear discrete, but are, in fact, one unit cohered together by time. All its appeal lies in the unprecedented design concept by Alexandros Stasinopoulos and the ease and elegance with which it embraces within itself such a marvel of complicate craftsmanship. The uppermost tape measures time in minutes, overlapping two smaller tapes that display hours and the current day of the week, respectively. Scope further for more jaw-dropping pictures.
You will notice a magazine and a push-button. Well, that doesn’t make it pimp, but what it really does makes it that. The Auto-loading Screwdriver, as it is called, is adept at changing the driver bits, without your help. Not exactly completely without that, it just needs a little rotation of its transparent magazine and sliding of it’s cover back, to load a new driver bit. That’s it. You’re done. You don’t have to get your hands dirty changing bits and the real doozy thing; you won’t ever loose the driver bits. It has 3 Philips bits (0, 00 and 000) and 3 straight drivers for US$14.99 and it’s bigger brother (version) will cost you $19.99. Now, that’s dope isn’t it?

While we’re completely engrossed in those addictive video games, let alone eating food or going out to catch some air, we even forget to blink our eyes. This leads to a pestering problem, Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) a.k.a. keratitis sicca, xerophthalmia or simply Dry-Eye, which is cause due to a decreased tear-production or increased tear film evaporation. It is our natural tendency to reduce our blink rate when concentrating and these activities like prolonged video game-play, computer usage et al reduce our blinking rate, thereby exacerbating the Dry-Eye disease. So, in order that you don’t suffer from this ailment, a Japanese eyewear maker Masunaga Opticals has invented “Wink Glasses”, which supposedly prevents DRY-Eye, by making you blink every 5 seconds.

These Wink Glasses have a sensor on them, which monitors the user’s eye-activity and how often he blinks. If he fails to blink within 5 seconds, glass lens fogs up (technically speaking: the ultra-thin liquid crystal sheet on one lens turns opaque) and the user is forced to blink, after which the fog disappears restoring the lens vision to normal. So, this cool eyewear can be pretty handy if you don’t want to have itchy, scratchy, stingy, tired or burning eyes, which are only a few of Dry-Eyes’ symptoms. Wink Glasses are powered via a rechargeable battery or a built in USB port and are available for Y40, 950 or $449.089.

At the end of the day it’s only practice that matters, because only this will make you see the light of another day. Moreover, you need to practice if you want to take ‘their’ headshots. This is a real life saver for just $34.99.
